Bringing Holiday Cheer to NICU Families for Over 10 Years

For over a decade, our family and The NICU Dad organization have been on a heartfelt mission to support families with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) during the holiday season. Inspired by our own NICU journey, we started creating holiday care bags as a way to bring warmth, hope, and joy to families facing challenging times.

These care bags are thoughtfully assembled with love and compassion and filled with essentials like toiletries, snacks, comforting keepsakes, and handwritten notes of encouragement. Each bag is designed to remind NICU families that they are not alone and that a caring community is here to support them. Over the years, we have delivered hundreds of these bags to NICUs in the Austin, TX, area, touching countless lives and spreading holiday cheer when needed most.

This initiative has grown beyond anything we could have imagined, thanks to the incredible support of our community. Together, we have created a tradition of giving that brightens the holidays for families navigating the NICU journey.
